Our organization consists solely of volunteers - community members whose backgrounds vary from professional firefighters to housewives. New members receive all equipment and gear, all proveded at no charge. Monthly training and business meetings are held at the station and members must meet annual attendance requirements for these meetings. When applying for membership, applicants are required to provid a criminal history and drivers license check with the application. Benefits of becoming a volunteer firefighters include personal satisfactions, being enrolled in the state pension fund and many educational benefits include scholarship opportunities for you and your family. All that is asked of you is to commit to attending training and business meetings monthly, and respond to emergency calls when available.
